Across towns, parks, and public spaces, there are places that naturally bring people together. A quiet walking trail, a small-town park, a memorial garden. These are the spaces where stories are shared, memories are made, and communities connect.

Freedom Benches were created with those spaces in mind.

As we approach the 250th anniversary of the United States, there is a renewed focus on honoring our history, recognizing service, and creating meaningful places for reflection. Freedom Benches offer a simple but lasting way to do exactly that.

A Lasting Tribute for Public Spaces

Freedom Benches are designed for communities that want to create something permanent. Whether placed in a town park, outside a municipal building, along a walking path, or within a veterans memorial, these benches serve as both a functional space and a meaningful tribute.

They provide a place to sit, reflect, and remember, while also becoming part of the landscape for years to come.

This makes them a natural fit for:

  • Boroughs and municipalities
  • Veterans organizations such as VFWs and American Legions
  • Schools and campuses
  • Memorial parks and public gathering spaces

Built to Last, Designed with Purpose

Each Freedom Bench is crafted using high-quality stone, sourced from the Catskill Mountain region of New York. This type of stone is known for its strength, durability, and natural appearance, making it ideal for outdoor environments that experience changing seasons.

We’ve partnered with Johnston & Rhodes, experts in working with this material, to ensure each bench is not only visually impactful but built to stand the test of time. The result is a piece that feels solid, intentional, and permanent. Not temporary or decorative, but something that becomes part of the community itself.

Fully Customizable for Your Community

Every community has its own story, and each Freedom Bench can be customized to reflect that. There will be several types of Freedom Benches, there’s the striking flag bench from Johnston & Rhodes, the interlocking 4-piece classic Liberty Bell Bench from Tompkins Bluestone and two other 3-piece benches with a lot of space to be personalized.

Designs can include:

  • Town or city names
  • Military branch recognition
  • Dedications to local heroes or veterans
  • Organization logos
  • Patriotic elements and imagery

Whether the goal is to honor a specific individual, recognize a group, or simply create a patriotic focal point, each bench can be tailored to fit the vision of the space it will live in.

More Than a Bench

What makes Freedom Benches different is not just the material or the design, but the purpose behind them.

They are not just places to sit.
They are places to pause.
To remember.
To reflect.

They create opportunities for communities to recognize their history while also contributing something meaningful for future generations.
